Pathogen of cows - Foot-and-Mouse Disease Virus
On 2010, a terrible infectious disease for cows etc. prevailed mainly in the south part of Miyazaki prefecture, Japan. By this epidemic, many cows was killed. The pathogen of this disease is Foot and Mouse Disease Virus (FMDV).
The FMDV is composed of RNA, the blueprint of the virus, and the spherical shell wrapping the RNA.
