PDB numon

Proteins are a sort of biomolecules involved in many kinds of life phenomena, and their shapes and functions are also various. The shapes are related to their functions, and it helps us understand the mechanism of life to revail the detail information of shapes. So now researchers make effort to know the shape of proteins with state-of-the-art machineries. Once the shape is solved, it is required to deposit into PDB (Protein Data Bank). After validated, we accept the data and provide it for public without no fee and no limitation. It is governed by wwPDB (worldwide PDB) and PDBj is a member of wwPDB.
