On desktops, laptops and workstations, to use molmil, it is recommended to install the latest version of your favourite browser. For some older versions of Safari and Opera it is also required to [http://www.khronos.org/webgl/wiki/Getting_a_WebGL_Implementation enable WebGL]. Finally make sure that your drivers are not too old (2010-12-31).


On mobile devices (smartphones/tablets), it is recommended to install the latest version of Chrome for Android, Firefox for Andriod, Opera Mobile or the Blackberry browser. iOS (iPhone/iPad) is currently supported from iOS 8.0. In case your browser supports WebGL, you will be able to see and use a preview of our new molmil viewer:

はじめに

Molmil（もるみる）はPDBjのGert-Jan Bekker（ゲルトヤン・ベッカー）が開発した新しい分子閲覧ソフトです。 インターネットに接続されたウェブ環境で利用することを想定し、できるだけ多くの環境で利用できるように設計されています。OpenGLによるGPUハードウェアアクセラレーションを用い、美しいグラフィックスと最適なパフォーマンスを実現します。Molmilビューアは既存のサービスに組み込むだけではなく、jVと同じようにスタンドアロンビューアとしても用いることができます。スタンドアロンビューアを使って、自身で作成したPDB、PDBML、mmCIF、mmJSONの各フォーマットファイルを読み込むことができるだけではなく、PDB IDやChem Comp IDを指定して既存の構造を読み込むこともできます。さらに、jV用ポリゴンXMLファイルも読み込むことができます。今後さらに機能を追加していきます。機能追加のリクエストもお待ちしています。また、Molmilを自分のウェブサイトに埋め込むこともできます。方法についてはこちらをご覧下さい。
